BGM Electronic Services was founded in 2017 by Terry Bishop. BGM Electronic Services was acquired by Berkshire Hathaway in August of 2022 and is a wholly owned subsidiary under the Exponential Technologies Group.  Our dynamic Product Development & Realization business model provides complete customer solutions we term “Disruptive Innovation”. Our tag line “When a component isn’t enough” brings together our Technology Partner Ecosystem and Supply Chain to provide our customers complete technology solutions from specification to production, on-time and within budget.

 

Our rapid growth, which includes the building of our new Auburn Hills Michigan Corporate Headquarters and Tech Center, provides us with the ability to grow our engineering resources and technical capabilities. When called upon by General Motors during the height of the COVID pandemic to manage the entire electronics procurement and manufacturing of the GM/Ventec/US Government Ventilator Project, BGM delivered 390,000 electronic assemblies for 30,000 ventilators in 150 days! This achievement was recognized by GM with the 2020 Supplier of the Year – Over Drive Achievement Award. This is one of many examples of solutions we have provided to the Automotive, Medical, IoT and Industrial markets. We supply Design Engineering, the latest in electronic manufacturing (Prototype and Production), along with EMC and Wireless Testing through our in-house relationship with Bureau Veritas (BV). We also provide warranty inspection and failure analysis capability in our new lab embedded in our Auburn Hills Tech Center.
